ST. PETERSBURG, Jun 1 (PRIME) -- Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) plans to sign a firm contract for supplies of 50 MC-21 passenger planes with national flag carrier Aeroflot in 2017, UAC President Yury Slyusar told reporters on Thursday on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
“(It will happen) in 2017. I cannot say anything certain regarding the MC-21 contract right now, but we will definitely sign a contract with participation of us, Avia Capital Services, and Aeroflot during 2017,” he said.
